The 43.1-meter award-winning Cantiere delle Marche custom explorer yacht Acala has been sold. Luke Brennan of Cecil Wright and Franco Ambrosi of Zarpo Yachts represented the seller, while Adam Papadakis of Moravia Yachting introduced the buyer. Acala, a 2023 World Superyacht Awards winner in the 'Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 40m to 44.9m' category, was praised for its rugged design, excellent crew areas, diving equipment, and elegant interior. Italian studio Horacio Bozzo Design penned her exterior lines, Hydro Tec handled naval architecture, and Mexican designer Simon Hamui created the interiors. Acala was last listed at €29,995,000. Nicknamed the 'modest explorer yacht,' Acala was custom-built for an experienced owner seeking a more comfortable platform for exploring remote Atlantic and Pacific islands. Features include a beach club, dive store, and an 'expedition-worthy' range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Accommodating up to 12 guests in six cabins, Acala's interior design is calm and muted, featuring natural woods, plush fabrics, and leather accents. The yacht offers a top speed of 15.3 knots and a beam of 8.6 meters, powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acer engines.
